The weekend

Busy weekend heading into Holy Week.

Began with granddaughter's volleyball game

Teams are getting their peeps ready for the annual Peep-o-ramas.  None are done yet but they will be!

Spent some time with Summer.

April sewing day.   We have the best potlucks!

Susan had her show and tell.

And her quilting looked great on both sides!

Mom sews onies and donates them.

Alethea begins work on her wool project.

And I got mine traced and cut.

Diane is cross stitching today.

It was very fun and productive day.

I came home made Dude dinner and got ready for a late night mass. This Lent Season has been one of my most meaningful. Community is very important when you live a distance from others.  Church offers that for me.

Getting ready for Palm Sunday Celebration.

Father Carlos is ready to go.

The celebration went on until after 10pm and well worth it.

Today I got up early and did the shopping for Easter and low storage needs.
Some things for the pantry - a case of coconut milk, coffee,  case of baked beans and case of almond milk since we aren't milking until Peppy has her kids.

Then home to make Easter cards.

It is great when you wake up to these little ones outside your bedroom window.

The weather was wild today.  Thunder and lightning as well as hail today.

But the worst was the wind! Tumbleweeds are so many, they are bending our fence!

...and we end the night with a nice warm fire.

peace
