Vacation from work in the city.

I am so happy to have my vacation from work in the city this week. Much is planned- sewing, cooking, crocheting, canning, card making....oh so much to do and so little time.

A farmer friend from up northern Colorado gave me a bag of his beans.  I am a Bean Freak!  A batch of pintos are soaking now!  A big thank you to him!!!

 

I did manage to make a small batch of salsa from the tomatoes I brought in from the greenhouse. I have one more group of green tomatoes ripening. Hope to get another batch of salsa made from it.
