Saturday - finally a day off from the city

It was gorgeous today and by 10am it was already 60*.  It's what people from around here call the warm before the storm. Monday night and into Tuesday we are suppose to get alot snow. I worked to get as much done as possible today.

Peppers went in to be dried.
Next up five of the hens that were butchered last week were put into a big pot and cooked down for shredded chicken and broth.

There was a huge craft fair where a few of my friends were selling their craft and showing  their talent. I couldn't help myself.  I mean, would could resist beautiful knits, goat cheese, honey and a giant moose?

Came home to finish the chickens, walk the goats, and make fire starters with wax and lint. Then on to mass.

“But the wise shall shine brightly
like the splendor of the firmament,
and those who lead the many to justice
shall be like the stars forever.”
-Daniel 12:3

Dinner is chili rellenos from peppers we canned in October.  A good but busy day. Tomorrow we will be blessed with another warm day with opportunities to get a lot done.
