Turkeys, alpacas, and llamas ohmy

We took the turkeys in to be processed two months earlier than last year. Last year's turkey weighed 43 lbs and had to be cut in half to fit into the oven!

Today we took in our turkeys. It was bittersweet.

Two turkeys and two roosters for the pot.

They were friendly and gently and good friends while we had them.

They weighed in at 22 and 23 pounds.

Thanksgiving meal is set for the main event.

We also went to the Agritopia today to see alpacas, shearing and spinning. Honey and goat milk soaps and lotions were for sale and everyone was very generous with their knowledge..

Shearing time.

Okay, turn him over!

Grandkids are staying the night so I need to find some crafts to do. Let the staycation begin!
Have a great night.
peace, health and happiness.
