Another homestead, another baby ewe

We went to another homestead today to look at a Southdown Babydoll ewe lamb.  We were met by an emu and a rhea, birds that resemble ostriches.

They had a little of everything.

There neighbor was spreading manure the old fashion way...with horses.

Then we met the sheep. They were a cute lot.

There she is ... adorable. Born on April 1st she will be ready to come home on Mother's Day.

The neighbors looked on.

Can always tell the bottle feed animals , they come running.

We said our goodbyes and until we meet again to the  lamb and came home.

Dude went outside to plant carrots and water. I went in to sew.

Finally finished my garden smock . I like it.

Dinner was preplanned and put in the crockpot.

Now it time to do up the dishes.

And read in a hot bath.

peace
