It was a rainy day but with family and friends it is always sunny.
Just a grandma picture.... our newest grandson is just adorable.
Today was sewing day. The ladies were coming out to the homestead for an afternoon of food, chatter and sewing.
Mint water and tea all set up and everyone began arriving at 11:30am.
Show and tell! Susan has been busy.

Susan decorated some old jean jackets she got from the thrift store.

Susan and I got our scraps together and got to work making trading cards.
It was a blast seeing what we could create.
We use timtex (a stiff fusible interfacing) and back them with fabric. Then a quick zigzag around the edges and they are ready to decorate.

It was a productive day.
We cleaned up around 4pm and everyone headed home.
We rested for a bit before heading for a late evening mass.
Simple rainy good day.
