New chicks and a bit of crafting

We went to pick up our new chicks today.

Everyone was excited.  We had to quickly get them in their new home.  Even though it is warm to us , these are after all, babies and there is still snow on the ground. We had to dig a path to the coop.

The welcoming committee was on hand to greet everyone and make sure they felt at home.

Angelo even offered to kiss each one! Such a sweetheart!

It was also hay day.  Needed to stock up before Christmas!  Thanks Bud!

Then home to tuck in the babies and start to craft. They are checking out their new digs.

Remember the shower disks I made? Well, they needed a new home too. I tend to save containers and came up with this to craft to store the disks.

I found that spray paint works the best to cover most containers, plus it dries quickly.

I needed to cover up this and found a sticker that would fit right over it.

Just for balance I put one on the other side.

Then slather the lid with mod podge and sprinkle generously with glitter and let dry.
It is now ready for the shower disks.

Last up was checking on the greenhouse. Everything is doing well.
