Greenhouse update

We continue to learn about the greenhouse. There is still snow on the ground and even though it is beginning to warm up, it gets bitter cold at night. I went out night before last and despite the heaters being on, there was ice on the inside of the glass door. 

Dude devised a sort of greenhouse in the greenhouse.  Our variety of lettuce and spinach are coming up and we want to do all we can to save them.

We will see how it goes. The coming days are suppose to be warm, in the 50's.  Looking forward to the thaw.

Made humus for my lunch and devil pork for Dude's sandwiches.

Jars are ready for canning the last of the sauerkraut tomorrow.
