We have an abundance of cabbage this year. So we will be eating it daily. It is so good for you. I just read at Eden Prescription: ". A recent European study found that those eating cabbage family vegetables (broccoli, kale, Brussels sprouts, etc.) 3 times weekly had 30% less pancreatic cancer. But cabbage was far more powerful: those eating just one serving weekly had 38% less risk! " Wow!
Something I like for breakfast or even lunch is fried cabbage. Just saute chopped cabbage in sesame oil, toss around until cooked, add salt , pepper, hot pepper flakes and Mirin rice wine vinegar. Good stuff.
Quick craft. Our stepdaughter will be moving to Alaska soon. I wanted to make her an address book for everyone to put their info in and she can take with her. I saw similar idea at Jennibellie's Studio. Check her out she has some fun ideas.
I have a bunch of the small books of paper.
You just fold them in half. Staple the center.
Add stickers and a ribbon or string around the binding.
These would be great as mini photo albums, journals, address books, and thankful thoughts.
Remember this from last year? A micro-burst blew our neighbor home-to-be flat to the ground. Yep, the weather can be brutal on the prairie.
Take time to relax!
Wonderful Wednesday to you.
peace
