If you know anything about me, it's that I love crafts! Crafts can heal the world. Image if the world leaders of today would just come together over a table of crafts. The word would be a much better place ;), although some might still fight over the googly eyes. Or, what if some of them showed up for a press conference with glitter in their eyebrows.

About Me

I guess you could say that homesteading was in my blood. Grandpa would feed the wild horses that came down from the mountains of Colorado. Dad had bees. He loved gardening and was into survivalist methods. His "camping" books kept our imaginations running with all the cool things we could do in the outdoors! Mom was always busy with something: canning, sewing and keeping six kids busy. So, it was a natural progression and a round about path that started me on my life as a homesteader.

This blog is about its challenges and successes along the way. I’m not an expert at anything, but love to learn and share what I know. I am a wife, mom, grandmom, homesteader, quilter, crafter and someone trying to leave the world just a tiny bit better than when I found it.
